AAUW Springfield was founded in November, 1927 with 31 charter members. Since that time, AAUW has been active in education and promotion of equity for women and girls from the boardroom, to the classroom, to the sports field and all other aspects of the community.
Membership is open to men and women who has been awarded an Associate’s (AA) degree or higher from a regionally accredited college or university.
The branch meets the 3rd Monday evening of each month at 7 PM. Meeting venues alternate between Clark State Community College & Wittenberg University. AAUW Springfield is pleased to partner with Wittenberg University, Clark State Community College and Wright State University.
